About the Open Call

Sketchy invites artists to capture the spontaneity of live human and pet models through expressive, quick-draw sketches. Artists may submit up to eight sketches. Submitted works do not necessarily have to be created during live sessions. Artists set their own prices (recommended range $25–$200) and SBDAC retains a 40% commission on all sales.

What is Offered

Selected works will be displayed in SBDAC’s Capital Gallery during the month of May 2026.

Requirements

Artists may submit up to eight sketches. Accepted formats: High-resolution photo or scan (JPEG/PNG, 300 dpi); Maximum file size: 2MB per image.
