About the Open Call

The SIYU AWARD 2026 invites young Swiss photographers to submit their work for an opportunity to receive significant support through the newly created Alois Ottiger Grant. A professional jury will select ten outstanding works to be presented in a group exhibition at Photobastei Zurich and published in a catalogue featuring all selected works. The award aims to meaningfully support the artistic development of young photographers across all fields of photography.

What is Offered

Selection of ten works for a group exhibition at Photobastei Zurich, publication in a catalogue, and prestigious prizes/professional support through the Alois Ottiger Grant.

Requirements

Applicants must have Swiss citizenship and/or residence in Switzerland at the time of submission.
