The festival seeks work fueled by socially engaged practice, focusing on robust artistic processes and accessible forms that respond to community problems. Proposals can include live performances, digital presentations, or participatory events. The festival specifically welcomes alternative presentation models that include disabled or immunocompromised participants and encourage environmental sustainability or reduced air travel.

What is Offered

Artist honorarium of SGD 1,000 for in-theatre productions (revised for other formats), twin or triple-sharing accommodation, covered venue rental, basic technical equipment, ticketing administration, and a robust marketing campaign.

Requirements

Works must be contemporary and socially engaged. Shortlisted artists must provide details on funding status, availability, and technical requirements. International artists are responsible for their own travel and freight costs.
