About the Open Call

The Seed Money Grant Program supports concert projects featuring works by NYWC members. Applicants can be solo performers, ensembles, or presenting organizations. Projects must feature works by either at least three NYWC members (for a single focused concert) or at least five NYWC members (for disseminated performances across a season). Music must be selected in part via a required call for scores process. Grants are $1,000 USD. Applicants must submit an outline, professional biographical materials, promotional materials, and a sample sound recording.

$1,000 USD grant per project.

Requirements

Applicants must be solo performers, ensembles, or presenting organizations. Projects must take place between September 1, 2026 and June 30, 2028. Performers must consult with composers during rehearsals and provide program information. All public materials must acknowledge support from NYWC.
