About the Open Call

The Glasgow Gallery of Photography is running an exhibition in May called Seascape. We want to see images from the coast with this exhibition. With changing weather, Seascapes can often be dramatic as well as beautiful, so this Exhibition we want to showcase the many different aspects of Seascapes. Photographers who are selected will have their work displayed in our gallery, with their work also appearing in an online gallery on our website, as well as an exhibition catalogue.

What is Offered

Physical gallery display, online gallery feature, inclusion in an exhibition catalogue, digital certificate of participation, and eligibility for Photographer of the Month. The gallery covers printing and installation costs for selected works.

Requirements

Photographers may submit up to 8 images. Selected photographers must pay a £48 participation fee. Images must be JPEG format, 300ppi, and at least 3000 pixels on the shortest side. Correct file naming is required to prevent loss of work.

How to Apply

Choose up to 8 JPEG images (300ppi and 3000px minimum on shortest side). Name files in 'Firstname-Surname' format. Send files via Smash, SwissTransfer, WeTransfer, or Dropbox to submissions@glasgowgalleryofphotography.com. Include your name, nationality/residence, and the exhibition title (Seascape) in the communication.
