The Ionion Center for the Arts and Culture
The SEA(S)ARTS 2024-2025 program, an INTERNATIONAL SEA(S)FORUM & FESTIVAL, is organized by the Ionion Center for the Arts and Culture under the Auspices of the Prefecture of the Ionian Islands and the Municipality of Kefalonia. Running from Spring to Fall 2024-25, the event explores the theme 'The Infinity of the Seas. Earthly and Universal Seas, from the microcosme to the macrocosm.' The festival includes Performing Arts (presentations, theater, dance, free performances, concerts), Literary Arts, Dance, Music, Visual Arts (photography, painting, sculpture, design, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, site-specific installations), and New Technologies & Digital Arts (video art, short films, new technologies apps) in the frame of a Digital Festival. All languages are welcome, though English is suggested for submissions. Formally registered submissions may be granted space for personal exhibitions/presentations in agreement with the Ionion Center.
Granted space for personal exhibitions/presentations (in agreement with the Ionion Center), participation in International Arts Exhibition and Performing Arts official opening, and possibility of prizes (Announcement of the winners).
Eligible are All disciplines and interdisciplinary projects in Arts, Sciences and Technologies, Education and Research, included Environmental projects, Literary Arts , Performing Arts and Music, Applied Arts, Visual Arts , New Media. Projects can be personal or collective, and academic projects, Schools, Colleges, Universities, and institutions & activists involved in Arts, Sciences, and Research are invited.
