About the Open Call

In cooperation with the Liturgical Arts Festival of Springfield (LAFS), the Springfield Art Association (SAA) will host a juried exhibition of liturgical and sacred art as part of the biennial, interfaith Liturgical Arts Festival: Sacred Rhythm/Sacred Pattern. All spiritual interpretations, approaches and media are welcome. We aim for an exhibition of work that will support diversity, promote understanding, and foster tolerance.

What is Offered

A total of $1,500 in cash prizes will be awarded for Best of Show, First, Second, and Third place. Exhibition opportunity and potential for art sales with a 35% commission.

Requirements

Open to all artists living in the United States, aged 21 and older. All submitted artwork must explore a spiritual or religious theme, be original, and have been completed within the last three years. Works must be gallery-ready with proper hardware for installation.

How to Apply

Applications must be submitted through the CaFÉ website. Artists may submit up to three works with one image per work and include a written explanation of the spiritual theme (up to 1000 words).
