About the Open Call

Roxey Ballet, a mission-driven professional dance company, is casting for the 2025–2026 season. They are looking for artists with strong backgrounds in classical ballet, contemporary dance, and theatrical performance. The company emphasizes excellence, community impact, and innovation, performing for diverse audiences and participating in outreach programs. Auditions are by invitation only after an initial application process.

What is Offered

Short- and long-term contracts (18–45 weeks annually), performance opportunities in mainstage productions, site-specific works, and community tours.

Requirements

• Professional training and performance experience in classical and contemporary ballet, modern, theater dance and improvisation skills • Strong theatrical presence and versatility in a variety of styles • Must enjoy working with children and comfortable in high-energy environments • Experience in education and community engagement is highly valued • Experience with inner-city youth, artists with disabilities, or inclusive programming is a strong plus
