"Rising Eyes of Texas" Juried Texas Collegiate Show 2026

About the Open Call
Every year, Rockport Center for the Arts hosts a statewide, juried exhibition for undergraduate and graduate students emerging in the visual arts. The exhibition runs from February 27 to March 29, 2026, with a public reception on March 14. Cash prizes are awarded for the top three selections.
What is Offered
Cash prizes: $500 for First prize, $300 for Second prize, and $200 for Third prize. Exhibition in a formal gallery and 60% commission on sales.
Requirements
All student artists in Texas age 18 and over who are currently enrolled at a university, college, community college, or technical school. Works must not exceed 72 inches. Each artist may submit up to three entries. Accepted 2D artworks must have D-rings or wire attached and be ready to hang.
