About the Open Call

The project invites African artists, collectives, and creative practitioners to submit proposals for digital artworks engaging with the theme of 'Resources'—including knowledge systems, care networks, time, bodily autonomy, and cultural memory. Selected projects will be exhibited on the House of African Feminisms website and potentially presented physically at an African Feminisms Gathering in Kigali or Germany. The work must critically engage with African feminist perspectives and demonstrate feasibility within the provided budget.

What is Offered

Funding of up to EUR 2,000 for the selected project, digital exhibition space, and potential physical exhibition at the African Feminisms Gathering.

Requirements

Artists and creatives living on the continent or the African Diaspora with a track record/portfolio of previously created work.
