About the Open Call

CIFRA invites artists to submit works that reveal how reality is constructed. We seek screen-native projects engaging with pseudo-evidence, invented archives, alternative chronologies, reconstructions, and 'false' testimonies, including internet narratives, post-cinema, found footage, and montage essays. Accepted formats include video art, animation, 3D, AI, glitch, and hybrid cinema. All submissions must be uploaded directly through the CIFRA platform as video files.

What is Offered

5 winners receive €1,000 each.

Works must be screen-native and submitted as video files. External links to platforms like Vimeo or YouTube are not accepted; work must be uploaded directly to CIFRA.
