About the Open Call

The Research Residency Program provides opportunities to conduct research on arts and culture in the city of Tokyo, targeting both international and local creators. The program covers various disciplines including visual arts, design, architecture, music, performing arts, curation, art criticism, and cultural research. Successful candidates are provided with a single living space.

What is Offered

Living space (single room) is provided. No studio/workspace is included. Financial support for travel or additional accommodation is not provided.

Requirements

Applicants must have considerable experience in their specialized area. Duos are eligible if they have an established history of working together. Two letters of recommendation are required.
