About the Open Call

Registration for AmsterDans 2026 is now open! Please note: on the registration forms, studio means dance studio or school, routines are the pieces of choreography - the solos duets, trios, and group pieces.

What is Offered

Participation in a dance competition, masterclasses, and potential prizes (such as free entry for the next edition).

Requirements

Participants must register through DanceComp Genie, create an account, enter dancer information, create routines, and upload music (.mp3 file) before the deadline. Payments for competition and masterclasses must be completed via bank transfer. Registration can be as a studio or independent dancer.

How to Apply

1.- Set up an account for your Studio (dance school). If you are not part of a studio, put the independent dancer name. 2.- Enter information for the dancers/teachers/choreographers who wish to participate. 3.- Create Routines (solo, duets, etc.) for the dancers to perform. The age categories will be filled in automatically. 4.- Choose which Masterclasses (if any) dancers want to sign up for. Don't wait too long, the places are limited. These can be found under 'Add-Ons'. Your registration will be saved. You may return at any time to review or modify your information. 5.- Payments are through bank transfer only and must be completed as soon as possible. Registration will ensure your place in the competition. The full payment MUST be done before the 22nd of February, 2026. Late registration will not be accepted. Please include in your bank transfer description: The Studio (or Independent Dancer) Name, and whether you are paying for Competition, Masterclasses, or Both. 6.- Have you won a prize of a free entry for AmsterDans 2026? Write us to receive your coupon and instructions on how to use it. 7.- Music (as an .mp3 file) MUST be uploaded through the DanceComp Genie site before registration closes on February 22nd.
