About the Open Call

Lumen Art Gallery presents "The Impossibles," a 2025 October International Group Exhibition focused on Surrealism. The exhibition runs from October 11 to 18, 2025, at the ARYA KAMALI INTERNATIONAL CULTURE AND ARTS CENTER in Izmir, Turkey. Artists worldwide are invited to submit works that explore surrealist visions, dreamlike encounters, and imaginative narratives. Selected artists will receive an official acceptance email with detailed instructions. There are two participation options: On-site Reel Exhibition for original artwork in the gallery (fee: €25 per artwork) and Digital Screen Display for artists unable to attend or ship work (fee: €20 per artwork). Please note that only selected artists are required to pay an exhibition fee.

What is Offered

Requirements

Open to artists worldwide. Submissions should align with the Surrealism theme, exploring impossible visions, dreamlike encounters, and imaginative narratives. Artwork images must be in JPG or PNG format, suggested 300dpi, and not larger than 2MB. When providing artwork info, do not use ':/_' characters, only '-'.

How to Apply

Artists are invited to submit their creative world. The submission process involves filling out a form with personal details (Name and Surname, Artist Name if different, Email, Website, Country of Residence, Social Media) and artwork information (full name, artwork name, year, technique and medium, dimensions cm.). Artwork images should be in JPG or PNG format, suggested 300dpi, and not larger than 2MB. If you wish to participate with more than 4 artworks, please send multiple submissions.
