About the Open Call

Rec League is offering a grant for students in art and art history to reflect on the ideas and influences that inform their academic work. Creative practice is shaped by sustained habits of attention and accumulation: the texts one returns to, the places that hold meaning, the films, images, sounds, and ideas that build up over time into a body of influence. 3 participants will receive $3,000 based on clarity, originality, and strong sense of voice.

Requirements

Open to U.S.-based undergraduate and graduate students in art or art history.
