About the Open Call

The Docks announces the 2025 launch of Raise Your Zine!, an international open call dedicated to photography and independent publishing. The initiative is aimed at unpublished photographic projects that stand out for their expressive strength, coherence, and narrative urgency. The selected work will be published by The Docks Publishing in 2026, with the curatorial support of our editorial team. In addition to the publication, a special mention will be awarded to a second project, which will receive a free editorial consultation.

Requirements

The call is open to photographers and collectives of all ages and backgrounds, regardless of nationality. No specific theme is required; priority will be given to projects with a clear and conscious authorial vision. Projects must be unpublished photographic works that stand out for their expressive strength, coherence, and narrative urgency.

How to Apply

A contribution of 15 euros is required to participate in the call, payable via PayPal or Bank Transfer (IL VARCO SRL | IBAN: IT81I0306905060100000014523). Payment is due at the time of application submission. Applicants must also register and provide details through the online form including name, surname, email, telephone, date of birth, country of origin, website, Instagram profile, and projects.
