Queer Heritage South
Queer Heritage South (QHS) and the newly established lens-based arts centre POST are seeking a socially engaged LGBTQIA+ photographer or collective to work with the QHS archive and other local photographic archives. The project involves creating an exhibition of photographic material and archival displays, designing and delivering community-facing workshops, and contributing to an events program in February 2027.
Includes a £5,000 artist fee, £3,000 material/production budget, access costs, and various support resources at POST including mentoring, technical support, studio and darkroom access, and production assistance.
Must be a socially engaged LGBTQIA+ photographer or collective. Applicants must be able to design and deliver workshops, develop an exhibition, and contribute to an events program.
