About the Open Call

The 9th Annual PROUD+ Exhibition showcases contemporary art from the LGBTQ+ community. This national exhibition highlights diversity, creativity, and lived experiences. Selected works will be displayed in the physical gallery in San Diego or in an exclusive online gallery, and all accepted pieces will be featured in a national exhibition catalog. The event includes a VIP and public reception during San Diego Pride Month.

What is Offered

$100 Best in Show awards for three artists, inclusion in a national exhibition catalog, 50% commission on sales, and networking opportunities.

Requirements

Open to visual artists. 2D works must be gallery-ready and framed in plexiglass (no glass). 3D works must fit through a doorway. All artwork must be available for sale. International artists are limited to the online gallery portion.

How to Apply

Applications must be submitted through the CAFÉ (Callforentry.org) platform. Artists must create a profile and submit 1 to 3 images of their original artwork.
