The Producers' Academy 2026 is an international seminar designed for producers to reflect on their practice. This edition focuses on producing participatory projects and contextualized work in public spaces. Facilitated by Bek Berger, the program includes workshops on ethics, collaborative methodologies like Action Learning, and sessions with expert guests. Participants will explore subjects through talking, listening, and walking, integrated with the Kunstenfestivaldesarts program.
Free participation, lunches, and two performance tickets for Kunstenfestivaldesarts. A limited number of travel bursaries are available for producers from countries with little financial support for mobility.
Open to producers of all nationalities with at least five years of experience in the performing arts sector (excluding opera and music-only projects). Applicants should have experience in or a focus on public space, participatory projects, or innovative/trans-sectorial approaches to creation. English proficiency is required.
Applicants must fill out the online form and upload a single PDF containing a CV (maximum 1 page) and a motivation letter (maximum 3,000 characters). The file must be named 'SURNAME Name'. Those applying for travel bursaries must include an additional motivation letter regarding their financial situation.
