About the Open Call

Pro Helvetia offers grants for the creation of new artistic works in visual arts, photography, and architecture. The project must be planned as part of an exhibition with a bindingly scheduled public display. The grant aims to support cross-regionally established artists whose work is of nationwide importance. The maximum grant amount is CHF 25,000.

Requirements

Applicants must have a verifiable connection to Switzerland (citizenship or permanent residency). The project must demonstrate high artistic originality, be of nationwide relevance, and be carried out with institutions that provide fair artist fees.

How to Apply

Submit applications via the Pro Helvetia online portal between July 1 and September 1. Submissions must include a 4-page PDF with project description and budget, a 20-page portfolio of work from the last 3 years, a CV with exhibition history, and an invitation letter from the venue host.
