About the Open Call

The 'Pretty in Pink Art Competition' is an open-themed call for artists and photographers to explore the color pink in all its forms, from delicate cherry blossoms to abstract color fields. The competition welcomes all styles and visual media, including painting, mixed media, photography, digital art, and sculpture. Submissions are reviewed anonymously by an independent panel of art professionals, focusing on creativity, skill, and originality. All submissions must be original works created by the artist.

What is Offered

Win $500 worth of prizes and a Cash Award. Top winners receive cash prizes ($100 First, $50 Second), inclusion in the Blue Koi Online Art Exhibition, social media promotion, newsletter features to collectors, galleries & art lovers, and Certificates of Achievement. Honorable Mentions & Finalists also receive exhibition and certificates. All winners get a permanent display on the platform.

Requirements

Open to artists worldwide who are 18 or older. All backgrounds, skill levels, and styles are welcome. We accept all visual media, including painting, mixed media, photography, digital art, and sculpture. All submissions must be original works created by the artist entering the competition.

How to Apply

Artists should submit their work via the provided application form. Image requirements include a maximum file size of 2 MB, JPG, JPEG, or PNG format, professional presentation without mockups, frames, or watermarks, and file names formatted as 'Artist Name – Title of Art.jpg'. High-resolution images (max 2000px longest side) with no watermarks or signatures, professional lighting, and neutral backgrounds are preferred.
