Prague Quadrennial
The 16th edition of the Prague Quadrennial (PQ 2027) invites global applicants to participate in five distinct program sections: PQ Performance, PQ Performance Space, PQ Studio, PQ Talks, and PQ Publication Cultures. The festival highlights scenography as an inseparable component of performance, unfolding in time and space through live audience engagement. The open calls range from design-led performances and explorations of architectural performance spaces to educational workshops, critical conversations, and the curation of scenographic publications.
Opportunity to participate in the world's largest scenography festival, including performance slots, exhibition space, workshop leadership, speaking platforms, and eligibility for the PQ Best Publication Award.
Open to all individual applicants, collectives, studios, organizations, and institutions working worldwide. Specific requirements vary by section (e.g., scenographically rich performances for PQ Performance; books/journals for Publication Cultures).
Applicants must submit their proposals via the specific online submission forms provided for each program section on the PQ website. Q&A webinars and curatorial concept PDFs are available for each section.
