About the Open Call

Inspired by the Palestinian experience of displacement, this call explores how belonging can exist beyond geography—in objects, people, and creative endeavors. It invites participants to consider how they construct their own sense of home when traditional ideas of place or permanence are disrupted. The project culminates in a curated exhibition in central Barcelona and an online publication.

What is Offered

Exhibition in a central Barcelona gallery, inclusion in a professionally designed online exhibition catalog/publication, a €300 prize awarded to one selected artist, and no commission taken on art sales.

Requirements

Open to all artists and designers aged 18 and over; all disciplines are welcome; no formal education required; all submitted work must be original; selected artists must pay a €95 participation fee (financial aid available); artists are responsible for shipping costs to and from the venue.
