About the Open Call

Selected artists will receive a $1,500 honorarium per sculpture exhibited, promotion through the City’s public art webpage including an artist profile, interpretive signage and photography, and the option to have the artwork listed for sale during the exhibition period.

Requirements

Open to artists residing in Alaska, California, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington. Sculptures must be freestanding, suitable for outdoor display, and generally not exceed 10 feet in height. Works must be durable, require minimal maintenance, and withstand weather conditions and public interaction. Artists must be able to transport and assist with installation of their sculptures.

How to Apply

Artists must submit an online application through the City’s public art page, including contact information, an artist profile, images of the proposed sculpture, technical details (dimensions, materials, weight), and a narrative describing the work and its inspiration.
