Fringe Arts Bath
Permission to Touch aims to break down barriers between art and the audience by creating an exhibition designed for people with different sensory abilities. Curated by Molly Rogers, the call seeks artworks that are intended to be touched and interactively experienced, moving beyond the 'visual art' label which can be exclusionary to those who cannot engage visually.
An exhibition opportunity during the Fringe Arts Bath Festival (22 May - 6 June 2026). Selected artists are asked for a £25 crowdfunding-style contribution and to volunteer some time.
Open to artists of any age, status, and location worldwide. Submissions should focus on tactile or multisensory engagement. Selected artists must contribute £25 and volunteer time.
To submit your work, email the curator at permission@fringeartsbath.co.uk with the project name in the email title. Include a maximum of 200 words about your work (written, audio, or video), images or links to video/performance work, and any relevant portfolio links.
