GRUND1535, in collaboration with the Positive Futures Festival, invites applications for the 2026 Sound and Performative Residency. The open call centers on the theme “Peripheral Grounds: Resonant Centers,” exploring how sound, voice, and the body operate across cultural, spatial, and political boundaries. Artists are encouraged to investigate questions of marginality and centrality, and how resonance can shift perception and meaning. The selected artist will undertake a residency from 1–26 October 2026 in Tyrol, developing a project, presenting a live performance at the festival, and engaging with the public through a workshop, talk, or similar format.
