About the Open Call
Café Royal Cultural Foundation NYC provides grants to individuals for the production of theatre, dance, and performance art. Projects may be accompanied by music. Funding is intended for production costs rather than the creation/composition of new work. Applicants must be US citizens or resident aliens, reside in NYC, and have lived in NYC for at least one year.
What is Offered
Performance grants of up to $10,000.00 for individual artists.
Requirements
Applicants must be United States Citizens or Resident Aliens, and residents of New York City for at least one year. Must be an individual applicant (no groups or organizations). Must submit up to 5 video links. Performance start date must be no sooner than 90 days after the deadline and no later than 12 months after the award date. Full play productions required; no readings.
