About the Open Call

Gothenburg Fringe is a boundary-breaking arts festival taking place in unexpected city venues. The festival celebrates its 10th edition in 2025, but applications for 2026 are already open. The event features a wide range of performing arts including theatre, dance, music, and comedy. Shows are typically performed in English or non-verbally to ensure accessibility. Artists set their own ticket prices and the festival organizers take no cut from sales.

What is Offered

Artists keep 100% of the income from ticket sales; the festival provides a platform and venues for performance.

Open to artists of all kinds, regardless of artform, age, or nationality.

How to Apply

Applications are submitted through an open call on the Eventotron platform, typically running from mid-November until the end of January.
