PAKD Gallery Berlin
Artists submit portrait or figurative works to be considered for a group exhibition running from 12 June to 4 July 2026. Selected works are displayed in the gallery, and the competition is judged by a panel of established artists. The first prize winner receives a free one-week solo exhibition, including promotion through the gallery’s platforms.
Applicants must submit 2D portrait or figurative artwork (painting or drawing) based on a real person, typically observed from life. Accepted media include oil, acrylic, watercolour, charcoal, pencil, and similar traditional techniques. Digital work, photography, sculpture, and AI-generated images are not eligible. Submissions are initially digital, but selected works must be physically delivered to Berlin. The call is open internationally, but artists must arrange shipping and collection of their work.
Artists apply online by submitting a digital image of their work along with the entry fee. Each submission is for one artwork, though multiple entries are allowed. If selected, the artist must send the physical work to the gallery for the exhibition.
