About the Open Call

The 'Open Theme - Fall 2025 International Art Competition' is open to all artists worldwide, accepting all mediums and styles (2-d and 3-d media, excluding video submissions). Works must be documented and submitted in jpg/jpeg form. This competition encourages freedom of expression and embraces diversity, allowing artists to explore personal experiences, cultural influences, social issues, or abstract concepts. Early entry by August 15, 2025, is recommended, as these applications will be automatically shortlisted as finalists, exhibited in the online exhibition, and move to the final round of jurying for awards. Select finalists may also receive an opportunity for an interview and solo feature on Art-Collide.com. The competition offers cash awards based on the number and quality of submissions, with First Prize ranging from $300-$1,000, Second Prize from $100-$300, and Third Prize from $25-$100, along with Honorable Mention and Finalist recognition. All award winners and finalists will have their work exhibited in the online gallery on art-collide.com. Importantly, there is 0% commission on works sold, meaning artists keep 100% of the purchase price. Prize money is distributed via PayPal, requiring recipients to have a PayPal account. The judging criteria include originality, creativity, artistic skill, and adherence to the open theme. Participants grant Art Collide a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use submitted artwork for promotional and marketing purposes related to the competition and online exhibition.

Requirements

Open to all artists, worldwide. All mediums and styles are acceptable (2-d and 3-d media, no video submissions). Work must be documented and submitted in jpg/jpeg form. Each participant can submit only one entry, including 3-10 images of their work. Submitted artwork must be original and created solely by the participant, and must not contain any explicit or offensive content. Finalists must pay a $35 finalist fee.

How to Apply

To apply, email the following information to contact.artcollide@gmail.com: 1. Your first and last name; 2. Images of your work (up to 10, jpg/jpeg only, no PDFs, zip files, or google drives); 3.
