About the Open Call

Deep Focus is a nomadic screening event that supports artists' moving image. We are a volunteer, artists-run initiative. The initiative aims to provide a platform for contemporary moving image and to add to the contemporary discourse by showcasing various forms, aesthetics, voices and perspectives. We wish to provide networking opportunities for artists.

What is Offered

Showcasing work in a nomadic screening event, inclusion in contemporary discourse, networking opportunities, and promotion through excerpts and stills.

Requirements

Artists must work with moving image. Submitting work implies agreement to the use of excerpts and stills for event promotion.

How to Apply

Submit work via the Google Form (https://forms.gle/AzyeUbdxMQYsFHsZ9). For accessibility purposes, an alternative submission format can be requested via email.
