About the Open Call

SIT-RES 2027 residencies invite artists and creative practitioners to engage with specific contexts for one year to develop new forms of creative intervention or cultural mediation. Applications are open for projects at Baltan Laboratories (NL), Lungomare (IT), Idensitat (ES), and ZEMOS98 (ES). The process involves two phases: a general application by May 31, 2026, and a secondary proposal development phase by August 14, 2026.

What is Offered

Selected residents will receive an artist fee of €13,500 and a production budget.

Requirements

Applicants must be creative practitioners or researchers interested in situated approaches, social well-being, and communal interdependence. Specific requirements for each residency institution are available in the download section.
