Open Call Screendance Film Competition ZED Festival + La Danza in 1 Minute

About the Open Call

The competition is divided into two main categories: International Screendance Competition (ZED + La Danza in 1 Minuto) looking for original, diverse, and high-quality international dance films with a maximum duration of 20 minutes, produced no earlier than 2023. Three cash awards will be assigned, including one dedicated to Generation Z authors (born from 1997 onwards). The second category is the VR 360° Dance Film Competition, dedicated to dance films conceived for viewing through a VR headset with no duration limits.

What is Offered

Selected works will be screened at ZED Festival (July 2-4, 2026). The competition offers three cash awards and special mentions from international professional and student juries.

Requirements

Films must be produced no earlier than 2023. International screendance category has a maximum duration of 20 minutes. VR 360° category has no duration limit.
