About the Open Call

BASE offers a shared territory of encounter for artists to pause and reconnect with the nature of their practice. The residency includes two editions in 2026 (July 14-18 and September 9-13). It features site-specific walks, body-based activations, observation practices, writing sessions, and individual mentoring. The program is designed as a process-based laboratory to help artists identify creative blocks and expand their language in a community grounded in generosity and care. Open to artists of all disciplines over 18 years old.

What is Offered

Includes 4 nights/5 days accommodation in shared rooms, full board (vegetarian/locally sourced), program of activities/materials, individual mentoring, and access to shared work/rest spaces.

Requirements

Applicants must be over 18 years old. Open to artists of all disciplines. Working languages are English and Spanish.
