About the Open Call

‘A space’ arts are awarding a £2000 bursary to a creative, community-focused, women-led initiative in the SO postcode to celebrate International Women’s Day 2026. Projects are selected at a live event where applicants pitch their ideas to an audience who votes for the projects they want to see funded. Proposals can be submitted in written form (up to 450 words) or as a recording (up to 3 minutes).
