About the Open Call

dodomu gallery's 'New Contemporaries' is an open call seeking fresh perspectives, daring creativity, and innovative ideas from emerging artists. The exhibition celebrates diversity, experimentation, and exploration of new mediums, styles, and concepts in contemporary art, including representational and abstract work. Artists are invited to submit drawing, painting, printmaking, collage, sculpture, installations, ceramics, textiles, photography, digital, and mixed media works. Selected artworks will be displayed as an online exhibition on the gallery's website from October 2 to November 20, 2025, and promoted on Instagram. The gallery does not take a commission fee on sold works, with all sales referred back to the artist.

Requirements

Open to all international artists 18 years and older. All visual art media will be considered.

How to Apply

Please submit jpeg images of up to 5 artworks to: dodomugallery@gmail.com with subject line: OPEN CALL - New Contemporaries. Submitted artwork images must be labeled as follows: FirstnameLastname _,_ “Nameoftheartwork”,medium,dimensions,year,price.jpeg and jpegs must be between 1500 and 3000 pixels in the longest dimension and at 300 or 72 dpi. Include a short artist statement, link to your website/Instagram in the email. Application fee must be paid via paypal.me/dodomugallery.
