About the Open Call

This grant is open to professional makers, collectives, and producers with a demonstrable track record in immersive and interactive media. It supports artistic projects with a cinematic component where storytelling—both fiction and non-fiction—is central. Funding is available for two distinct phases: development (resulting in a usable prototype) and realization (actual production).

Requirements

Eligibility: Applicants must be professional makers or producers registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KVK). Development Funding: Up to €15,000 for individual makers and €25,000 for producers, with an optional €5,000 for coaching. Realization Funding: Up to €35,000 for individual makers and up to €125,000 for producers (covering max 85% of the total production budget). Role Restriction: For realization grants, the producer cannot also serve as the director, screenwriter, or designer. Assessment: Applications are evaluated by an advisory committee based on artistic value, technical quality, and the distribution/audience strategy (for realization).
