About the Open Call

The FUTURES Photography Platform, supported by the EU Creative Europe Culture programme, brings together 20 leading photography institutions across Europe to nominate and support new talents. Selected artists from the Baltic states will join a community of hundreds of peers and gain access to international exposure and educational resources, including Magnum Photos online learning.

What is Offered

Selected artists receive a €500 participation grant, an invitation to the Futures Annual Event 2026 with travel and accommodation covered, access to a Magnum Photos online learning programme, and eligibility for funded residencies and exhibitions.

Requirements

Applicants must be citizens or official residents of Latvia, Lithuania, or Estonia. They must demonstrate at least 3 years of artistic practice, have participated in at least one exhibition, and provide a strong recent photographic project.
