About the Open Call

The Sarajevo Theatre Showcase (STS) 2026 aims to present a selection of theatre productions that combine artistic integrity with mobility and professional readiness. The event takes place from September 11–13, 2026. Selected works are presented live in Sarajevo for international guests, followed by networking and moderated discussions. The showcase does not cover performance fees, artistic honoraria, or production costs, but provides logistical and technical support, with potential travel stipends available for select participants.

What is Offered

Presentation in the official STS 2026 Showcase Program, moderated post-show discussions, exposure to international industry professionals, inclusion in promotional materials, and networking opportunities. Logistical support provided (accommodation, lunch, accreditation, technical support). Travel stipends may be available.

Requirements

Professional theatre productions from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Slovenia. Production must have premiered between January 2025 and April 5, 2026. Submissions require a full video recording with English subtitles and a technical rider.
