About the Open Call

The open call is for artists and organizations interested in contemporary dance, contemporary performance art, improvisation, and interdisciplinarity. BAZA is seeking workshops, ateliers, lectures, or small public events/performances, as well as artist talks, in-process presentations, and book premieres. BAZA offers digital communication support, PR, and use of its studio space. Financial arrangements are based on a profit-sharing model (60% to the artist, 40% to BAZA), though other financial partnerships may be possible. BAZA does not provide direct financial support for production costs like lighting or sound personnel.

What is Offered

Digital communication support, public relations, local network building, studio space access, 60/40 profit sharing from ticket sales, and online ticket sale management.

Requirements

Projects must align with BAZA's mission (improvisation, interdisciplinarity, community, care). Applicants must specify space configuration needs (open space vs. chairs/tables) and technical requirements (sound, theater lighting, projector).
