Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza and TBA21 Thyssen-Bornemisza Art Contemporary
The Nocturnal Walkthroughs are a series of activations within the public program of the exhibition 'Pedagogies of War' by Roman Khimei and Yarema Malashchuk. Selected participants will execute their proposed activity four times (two sessions per evening) on specific Saturdays from March to May 2026. Proposals can include performances, lectures, readings, sound interventions, living arts, or workshops that respond to themes of war, memory, and mediation. Each session lasts approximately 45 minutes and takes place in an intimate, immersive gallery setting.
A fee of 1,500 € (incl. VAT), which includes travel and accommodation expenses if required.
Open to all disciplines, backgrounds, and nationalities. Proposals must be technically feasible for the gallery space (simple technical requirements valued). Activities can be conducted in Spanish or English. Applicants must be available for specific dates: March 21, April 11, April 25, May 9, May 23, and May 30, 2026.
Interested applicants must submit their proposal through the registration Google Form linked on the official announcement page, including a description of the activity, relation to the exhibition, requirements, and a short portfolio or CV.
