The International Artist Residency Pedvale
The International Artist Residency Pedvale is accepting applicants for its 2025 Autumn Residency programme, offering a 4-week residency from November 2nd to November 29th. The program welcomes visual artists, writers, dancers, and performance artists, providing fully-furnished private bedrooms with private bathrooms, access to kitchen, common areas, and laundry in a refurbished 19th-century manor house. Artists also have access to the 100-hectare Pedvale Art Park grounds. Workshops are equipped with basic professional lighting, with 24-hour access to private or shared studios (ranging from ~30 sq meters to smaller basement spaces). Artists can also work outdoors in the sculpture park. While artists are responsible for travel and specific material costs, assistance for arrangements can be provided. Residents are invited to present their work to the local community, and may teach workshops, perform, or exhibit, though these are not mandatory.
4-week residency (November 2-29), private accommodation in a refurbished manor house, access to kitchen, common areas, laundry, 100-hectare Pedvale Art Park grounds, car parking, professional lighting, private or shared studios (24-hour access), possibility to work outdoors, assistance with grant applications (letters of recommendation).
Artists must self-fund travel and specific materials/equipment. Artists pay an artist's fee of €480 per month. Applicants need to submit an artist CV and a resume, a proposal letter, the preferred time for the residency, and samples of their work.
