Earthwise Residency
Curious Encounters 5 is an 8-week residency for two collaborating work partners (one performing/visual artist and one researcher/specialist) to address the theme of multispecies relations and the more-than-human. The program takes place at Earthwise Residency in Mols, Denmark, from September 1st to November 2nd, 2026. Applicants must have an ongoing collaboration and focus on research or practice that reweaves human lives with other living entities. The residency provides workspace, accommodation, a stipend of 5000 EURO per person, a materials budget, and travel support for green transit. Eligible applicants must be at least 18 years old and eligible to enter Denmark without a special visa.
Each of the two residents receives a 5000 EURO stipend, plus a small budget for materials, workspace, accommodation, and a green travel budget.
Applicants must apply in pairs (one artist and one researcher/specialist), be at least 18, and possess eligibility to enter Denmark without a special visa. The researcher must hold a master's or PhD. No single applicants accepted.
