Open call for Choreographers - FLOCK’s International dance festival

About the Open Call

FLOCK invites choreographers to apply for participation in an international dance festival. The festival features a mixed-bill context, film screenings, and community engagement. Selected artists will present stage works and are required to teach a workshop and participate in Q&A sessions. Accepted works will receive honoraria ranging from $1,000 to $4,000 depending on ensemble size and duration, plus provided housing.

What is Offered

Selected works will receive an honorarium ($1,000–$4,000 based on ensemble size), housing in Schwäbisch Hall, performance opportunity, inclusion in promotional materials, and video documentation.

Requirements

Works must be 5-20 minutes in length, created for stage (no films), and for solos, duets, trios, or groups up to 4 dancers.
