SCI_ART 2026 convenes artists, scientists, and research institutions from Canada and the EU for an artist-in-residence program and festival from September 22 to October 8, 2026. The theme 'After the Data/Cultural Climate Futures' seeks research-driven projects engaging with climate systems, Northern research, and technological infrastructures.

What is Offered

Artist fee ranging from $1,500-$5,000, round-trip international travel for EU artists, accommodation, local transport, and access to scientific research facilities.

Requirements

Applicants must be residents of Western Canada or based in a Member State of the European Union and available to participate in the full residency and festival program between Sept 22 and Oct 8, 2026.
