Didsbury Arts Festival
Didsbury Arts Festival (DAF) invites amateur and professional artists, groups, and organizations to submit proposals for the 2026 festival. The theme, 'Visibility and Invisibility', focuses on project ideas that combine imagination with the right to be seen, making visible life stories and experiences that are often overlooked. The festival seeks a diverse range of contributions, including music, theatre, dance, film, visual arts, and street performances, with a particular interest in local groups who can contribute to a community arts parade in Burnage.
Inclusion in the official festival programme and promotion across all platforms. While funds are limited, DAF may be able to contribute fees or share ticket income for certain events.
The call is open to artists from South Manchester, Greater Manchester, and beyond. Proposals should ideally reflect the festival theme 'Visibility and Invisibility'. Selected participants must adhere to health and safety, safeguarding, and equality policies.
Applicants must complete the online application form on the Didsbury Arts Festival website. Submissions should include contact details, a description of the proposal, resource requirements, links to previous work, and availability during the festival dates from June 27 to July 5, 2026.
