About the Open Call

Bærum Kunsthall invites visual and craft artists to apply to be a part of our 2027 exhibition program. Each exhibition period has a maximum of three solo exhibitions across the three rooms. The program focuses on uncompromising and current contemporary art. Applicants must have a connection to the Nordic or Baltic countries. Artists may apply alone or as a duo. Applications in Scandinavian languages or English are accepted; if you are comfortable in English, it is recommended.

What is Offered

The gallery provides a modest artist fee, a honorarium for artist talks, and a small transport subsidy to all exhibiting artists.

Requirements

Applicants must have a connection to Nordic or Baltic countries. The following will not be considered: artists who have exhibited at Bærum Kunsthall in the past two years (with exceptions for group/member exhibitions), or projects/works exhibited in Oslo and Eastern Norway in the past two years.
