About the Open Call

Castlefield Gallery and Pipeline (London) are collaborating to host one artist for a solo exhibition across two contexts during Summer 2026. The artist will show their work first at Pipeline's commercial space and then at Castlefield Gallery's public space. The partnership aims to provide experience in both commercial and public settings. The selected artist will receive curatorial, technical, and marketing support, alongside a production budget and professional photography.

What is Offered

£2,000 production budget (inclusive of artist fee, materials, and transport to Manchester), 9 days of technician support, curatorial guidance, marketing, professional photography in London, and active sales support with a 50% artist commission share.

Requirements

Applicants must be active members of Castlefield Gallery Associates for the duration of the open call and exhibition. Proposals must be for a body of work ready for exhibition in summer 2026.

How to Apply

Submit a single PDF (max 10MB) to associates@castlefieldgallery.co.uk including an artwork proposal (max 500 words), artist statement (max 250 words), up to 12 images or supporting materials, and a cash budget breakdown for the £2,000 provided. Applicants must also complete an Equality Monitoring Form.
