About the Open Call

The Art ‘n Fiber® 2026 residency offers a three-week stay (September 22 – October 13, 2026) for a professional textile/fiber artist. The program focuses on modern textile techniques including fabric printing, dyeing, shibori, piecing, quilting, and free embroidery. Includes a 30,000 SEK grant and up to 5,000 SEK for travel. Mandatory elements include a one-day workshop and a virtual artist talk at Uppsala Art Museum.

Requirements

Open to professional textile/fiber artists residing in Europe, outside of Sweden. Must submit a CV, portfolio, personal presentation, and a one-day workshop proposition.
