About the Open Call

The open call is for the commission of a newly conceived or unrealized project. The winning proposal will receive an artist's fee and a significant production budget. Shortlisted applicants are eligible for a fee to expand their proposals. The call is open to professional artists working in any media, at any career stage, locally, in Ireland, or internationally.

Submissions must be sent via email to opencall@visualcarlow.ie. Include examples of work (up to 10 items), a project proposal (max 500 words or 3 minutes), and artist information (CV/bio).
